On a tree

Beautiful bird chirps

Lovely Melody to ears

It hops over branches stealthily

Husky brown.

My friend Qui of LoveQuirky writes beautiful Sidlak Poetries and she had asked me to give it a try. Finally I jotted down one. I hope I’ve done justice to this beautiful form of poetry.

Know Sidlak

Sidlak poetry (sid/lak) is a structured poetry consisting of 5 lines with 3-5-7-9 syllables AND A COLOR. The last line must be a COLOR that describes the whole poem or the feelings of the writer.

Ash! How’re ya?! I hope you’re in pink of health and dancing your way to tunes of glory okay maybe bollywood numbers! 😋😋 Thanks a lot dear. That bird is cute! So tiny with a voice so sweet and musical. 😊 God’s creation amazes me.
