I will be there for you

From a mother to her child:
“I will catch you,
If you cry,
Will hold you till your tears stop.
I will catch you
If you roll over,
Make a wall of pillows to keep you safe.
I will catch you,
If you try to run,
Books or fright I will be by your side.
I will catch you,
If you hide from me,
I know you love playing hide and seek.
I will catch you
If you pout at me,
A teardrop with tantrum, a toy or not.
I will catch you,
If you are in a hideous suit,
Covered in cerelac and banana mash.
I will catch you,
If you stumble,
No boulder too big for mumma’s boy.
I will catch you,
If you fall for a boy,
Don’t forget, career and health is gold.
I will catch you,
If your world turns upside down,
With a sight of me, sorrow will crawl away.
I will catch you,
If you run away from me,
I am no goon, your friend for life.
I will catch you,
Even if you don’t want me to,
I will be your safety net.
I will always have my arms open for you,
I will hold you tight on gloomy days,
I will join you in your moment of joy.
You will always be my kid,
Who I watched growing up,
You may throw tantrums,
But deep in your heart you know:
I am your mother,
The one who loves you,
Unconditional and bound free.
Engulfing us,
Is this bittersweet love story of you and me, and;
I will treasure this forever. “

Hi Sup! How are you? Yes, long time indeed. As it’s said, to achieve something, sacrifices must be made. I am so caught up in everything, I don’t know when to write and what to write. I am missing wordpress, and peace and tension-free life. Lol, I sound funny! πŸ˜€ Thank you so much for your kind words. I am glad you like it. Mother’s love is unconditional, no one can ever take place of a mother. She is the best person and few words of mine can never match up to what she is. πŸ™‚
