Letting go

It’s ok to move on..
I have been trying to convince myself that it’s alright to be forgotten, to forget and to let go. The latter is what I am attempting to do, and very pathetically failing at it.
It’s rather funny I guess, I start my day with an undoubtedly striking enthusiasm to let go of my past, my suffering, the bad doing of others, and move on; with the same enthusiasm I back off and retreat from that path, leaving a crooked trail behind. I make it all the more difficult for me to go down that way.

I share my thoughts with people, I help them find their way. Like a mysterious lamp(working) in a tunnel, I guide them, but to be frank, sometimes, I too get lost and can’t find my way out.
But I won’t let my determination to let go, die. I won’t let the smoke escape the space of my mind. If I let go, I will gain something far more desired, Peace. And this is the ultimate achievement for me.Ultimatesolace! 🙂

As they say:
“Just let go. Let go of how you thought your life should be. Embrace the life that is trying to work it’s way into your consciousness”- Caroline Myss.
I came across this quote yesterday while browsing through facebook and it has left an impact on me. I am thrilled to do this ‘letting go’ thing. It may sound funny, but seriously give it a thought.
I hope I reach somewhere, it may take a while, but I hope to hit the bull’s eye.
Wish me luck. 🙂

tht was the reason i told of Dilemma! And ya, letting go is believing in yourself I agree! but just give a thought. You are discussing something imp. with someone… and that person is over reacting, over loud, over emphasizing the topic…finally u agree…or let go off the conversation..then is it not the sign of “just going by the flow”!
Actually, I believe in “let go” and sometimes come across different situations. seeing a motivating blog on “letting go” i cudnt resist myself from commenting… thanks for the motivation 🙂

      Lol 😀
Well, to let go off something, depends on that ‘something’. In the scenario described by you, you let go off the conversation, because you gave in to the other person’s demand. You didn’t go by the flow, you tried, he tried harder. If you would’ve insisted more, you would have been standing in his/her shoes. That is what letting go teaches you, to be at peace, it doesn’t mean that if a person is hurting you and you let the problem go cause, thinking that will bring peace. And at the end of the day, you can’t let go off everything, somethings are to be dealt according to the requirement of the situation. I was referring “let go” in context of a friendship gone down the hill. I have no issues with friendship, but with the person involved, so I am trying to let go off that pain, anger, sadness, and may be someday forgive the person too. 🙂
Thank you for bringing up this question. Letting go doesn’t hold true in every sphere of life.
